Multiple Socket-Outlet

The multiple socket outlet provided with the microscope system allows for attaching additional equipment to aid 

in vision, lighting and documentation.  

These outlets should only be used for supplying power to equipment that is intended to form part of the 

medical equipment system: digital camera, video camera, Xenon Ultrasource LightSource, and TV 

monitor. Please refer to International Standard IEC 60601-1:2005, Medical electrical equipment – Part 1: 

General requirements for basic safety and essential performance, for the requirements that are applicable to a 

medical equipment system.

The maximum permitted load for the microscope system is 240 VAC.
