4. Instructions for safe use of tool

Danger:
danger of cutting tool or heavy components falling. Wear suitable
clothing and protective footwear!

Danger:
if the piece, cutting tool break, parts may be projected at high speeds.
Wear protective goggles with a high mechanical resistance (FT categories) at all
times!

Danger:
failure to observe safety instructions places people’s lives and health at
risk and may cause material damage to the machine or surrounding environment!

Danger:
never insert fingers or other body parts in tool head!
L
Danger:
while the battery-operated hydraulic cutting tool is in operation, keep
other people, especially persons not involved in the work, well away from the
working area!

Danger:
before using the battery-operated tool, make sure it is not damaged. Use
equipment only if it is in perfect working order!

Danger:
it is strictly prohibited to loosen screws or dismantle protective guards!

Danger:
if a situation should occur while the tool is being operated which poses
persons or the device at risk, deactivate the cutting tool by removing the battery unit!

Danger:
for production assembly, use the shoulder strap provided!

Danger:
before switching on the power tool, inspect the hazard area. The tool
may be put into operation only if the operator is sure there are no risks and all
persons have been moved away from the hazard area!

Warning:
in normal working conditions, the battery may only be removed after
safely switching off the AS85 battery-operated hydraulic cutting tool!

Danger:
while carrying out work at high altitude, take sufficient precautions
to prevent the tool from falling or being dropped. Where this is not possible, a
protective helmet must be worn!

Warning:
in the event of an emergency, the tool may be brought back to starting
position by just pressing the mechanical return button!

Warning:
during tool operation, the typical A weighted sound pressure level may
exceed 70 dB (A)!

Warning:
the total exposure value for hand-arm vibration is lower than 2.5 m/s²!
