7. Warranty and Servicing
The firm
Intercable offers a warranty of three-years or 20,000 cycles. The warranty
period starts from the date of delivery.
The warranty covers repairs of any damage noted or faults in the device that can be
considered defects in material or workmanship existing at the time of delivery.
The warranty does not apply to:
■
damage resulting from improper use or inadequate maintenance;
■
damage resulting from cutting unsuitable connectors or unsuitable accessories
(not permitted);
■
battery, battery charger, switched-mode power supply units;
■
parts subject to wear and tear are excluded from the warranty.
8. Disposal
This unit is subjected to the scope of the European WEEE (2012/19/EU)
and RoHS (2011/65/EC) directives.
The mobile dustbin with a cross indicates that this equipment must be
disposed of separately from domestic waste at the end of its useful life.
Therefore, it must be conferred to a collection centre of electric and
electronic equipment or, at the time of purchase of a new product, must be
returned to the seller. In this case, the user is responsible for disposal of the equipment
at the end of its useful life, in conformity with the law. Only in the event of conferral of
the equipment to an authorised collection centre, is it possible to recuperate, recycle
and dispose of the product in respect of the environment, in a manner that permits the
materials to be reused, on one hand and, on the other, prevents negative consequences
for the environment and health. More detailed information is available at the local waste
disposal office or at the sales outlet where this equipment was purchased.
