  Doing a Control Solution Test

STEP 2. Press the main button

While the “ 
you will see the “QC” appear, which means that the meter 
is in the “Control Solution Testing Mode”. If you decide not 
to  perform  a  control  solution  test,  press  the  main  button 
again and the “QC” sign will disappear.
