Check the area above and around the machine for obstructions and electrical power lines before
operating the machine.

Press and hold the Lift button on the upper control box for 2 seconds.
• Result:
The Anti Surf brakes should apply to the rear wheels and prevent any
rolling of the machine.
• Result:
The platform should rise.
• Result:
The platform should stop rising.

The descent alarm should sound while the
button is pressed.

Press and hold the Lower button on the upper control box until the machine is in
the stowed position.
• Result:
The Anti Surf brakes should release and allow the machine to roll.
Test
Foot Applied Brakes

At the front wheels, push down on the foot applied brake so that ON is positioned
closest to the ground.
• Result:
The wheel should not be able to easily move while pushing on the
machine.
