PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
CAUTION
- Always follow safety located in the front of this manual.
Throttle (1)
The throttle is controlled by the right side foot pedal. Push the pedal to
increase engine speed and release the pedal to decrease engine speed. As
engine speed is increase above idle, the clutch or torque converter engages
and moves the product forward. To disengage clutch or torque converter at
any time, allow throttle to return to idle.
WARNING
- PRIOR to starting engine, check the throttle to make sure that
when pedal is pushed all the way forward the throttle assembly is working
and when released, the pedal and engine throttle linkage return to idle.
Brake (2)
The brake is controlled by the left side foot pedal. Push the pedal to apply the
brake.
WARNING
- DO NOT operate this product unless brake system is working
properly.

NOTE -
This product may be equipped with a disk brake system.
Steering (3)
The steering wheel system provides the product with the ability to turn. Make
sure the steering operates properly and freely. Lubricate all bearing points
periodically.
Engine Stop Switch (4)
WARNING
- DO NOT operate the product unless the engine stop switch is
functioning properly.
This product is equipped with a toggle type, two position engine stop switch
located on the side of the steering wheel. Place switch in the ON position to
operate the engine or in the OFF position to stop the engine. See Engine Stop
Switch Test in Operating Instructions.
Parking Brake (5)
WARNING - Before operating this product, the parking brake must be working
properly.
See Parking Brake Test in Operating Instructions.
This product is equipped with a parking brake which, when properly adjusted,
may be used to keep the brake applied when starting engine or when parked.
Do not operate if pedal and/or engine throttle linkage fail to return to idle.
If unable to correct any of the problems through lubrication, cleaning,
adjustment or replacement of worn parts, have the product inspected by a
qualified professional.
