Wire guard assembly
– Place the wire guard and tool horizontally (fig. 4)
– Push both sides of wire guard into the slot of left and right housing (fig. 4, fig. 6)
– Push & pull the wire guard to the appropriate location (fig. 5)
PREPARING THE TRIMMER BEFORE USE
Before carrying out any adjustment, cut off the electric power supply by disconnecting the
plug from the extension cable.
Before use, check that the tool is in good working order and that the length of the trimmer line is
correct, as follows:
1. Ensure the switch is in the off position and disconnect the cable plug from the mains supply.
2. Examine the general condition of the tool. Inspect the guard, switch, cord set and extension
cord, check for loose screws, improper
mounting
,
broken parts and any other condition that
may affect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs during operation, turn the
line trimmer off immediately and have the problem corrected by a qualified repair person.
3. Ensure that you are on a flat surface and have secure footing.
