8.2 USING A MOBILE PHONE AS HOTSPOT
You must have internet access to be able to use all functions of the SMART TV. For
this, you can also use your smartphone as a data hotspot, for example. Depending
on the operating system, you will find a corresponding setting item in your phone’s
settings. Please note that the data plan has a corresponding volume.
Once this function has been activated in your smartphone, the corresponding WLAN
network can be searched for in the TV set’s WLAN setting. Enter the password as-
signed on the smartphone to connect to it.
8.3 INSTALLING APPS
To ensure maximum support, the TV set has different options for installing apps.
Version 1 – App Store on the home screen
The pre-installed app store is the “ZEASN” app store as this has the best adaptation
of apps to the TV set’s resolution. It is not necessary to create a Google account and
the store only offers free apps for download.
Version 2 – Google Play Store
1.
Open the home screen with the [SMART] button on the remote control.
2.
Now navigate to the end of the view until the item “Settings” appears and confirm
the selection with the [OK] button.
3.
Now select the item “Apps” and then the item “View all apps”.
4.
All installed apps are now displayed on the TV set. Now select the item “Display
system apps” and scroll down until the Google Play Store appears.
5.
Now confirm the selection with the [OK] button and then the item “Open”, like-
wise with OK. The Google Play Store known to smartphones is now opened.
Note!
A corresponding Google account is required to use the Google Play Store.
Version 3 – Installation of APK files on a USB stick
If you cannot find the corresponding apps in the Play Store, APK files from the inter-
net can also be installed manually. Please also ensure that you use a secure source
so that you do not install any viruses or spyware. To do this, drag the corresponding
APK file via a computer or laptop onto a FAT32 formatted USB stick. Then insert the
stick into one of the TV set’s two USB ports. Either a file explorer or the preinstalled
Media Player can be used to open the file. This can be reached via the source over-
view or the [SOURCE] button on the remote control.
