RDS INFORMATION
Radio Data System (RDS) is a service being offered by more and more
radio stations, additional information is transmitted along with the actual
program and processed by your RDS-compatible MP4 player. The fol
-
lowing RDS information is automatically displayed on the screen while
listening to the station.
PS:
Program Service, allows the display of the current station name. For example, if you were
listening to BBC Radio 1, “BBC_R1” is displayed.
RT:
Radio Text, additional information provided by the radio station on the current program.
For example, BBC Radio 1‘s Radio Text always gives information about the presenter and
program e.g. JOHN PEEL - TONIGHT IN SESSION.
cT:
Clock-time and date, the accurate date and time from the current station is displayed. For
example, 2008/02/18

Note:
The RDS information display depends on the RDS service offered by your local station.
The RDS information of current station can only be received with strong signal.
The RDS information would be irregular with the weak signal.
USING FM RADIO MENU
While listening to FM radio, press [ ] button to enter FM radio menu.
Press [

] or [
V-
] button to select among

.
Press [
] button to enter.
Press [
] button to exit.

Use [
V+
] or [
V-
] button to select “Scan” or “Preset”, and then press

] button to confirm.
Preset:
Select this mode if you want to search
one preset channel among the saved presets at a time.
Scan:
Select
this mode if you want to manually search one frequency through the
FM band at a time. In Scan mode, press [
] or [
] to manually chan

ge the frequency (fine-tune). If you hold down [
] or [
] for approx. 1
second, the MP4 player automatically searches with lower or higher
frequency range for the radio station with next strongest reception.
Save Station
To save a manual searched station, use [
V+
] or [
V-
] button to select
a channel, and then press [
] button to confirm
