CLEANING AND STORAGE
IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE CLEANING AND STORAGE SPECIFICATIONS SO AS TO ENSURE THE CORRECT OPERATION
OF THE EQUIPMENT AND TO PREVENT THE INCIDENTS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 7.
TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
• Follow the specifi cations in the photos in Section [3] for cleaning and storing the equipment.
• ALWAYS CLEAN the equipment prior to storage or after use (never leave the pump with phytosanitary products in its
interior for more than 8 hours). For a comprehensive cleaning, operate the backpack using clean water.
• To extend the correct operation and the useful life of the sprayer, it is important to use and clean the fi lters using a brush
with plenty of water, never sharp objects. See the location of the fi lters in the photo [3.5]. To clean the suction fi lter Ref.
1251, the fi lter is disassembled by pulling it, never disassemble by unscrewing it.
• For the exterior cleaning of the equipment, use a damp cloth with neutral soap. Never clean with pressurised water.
• Store the equipment empty and out of reach of children in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excess heat
and cold (between 5°C and 30°C). (See battery storage in Section

).
MAINTENANCE
THIS EQUIPMENT INCLUDES WEAR AND TEAR COMPONENTS, INCLUDING BATTERY, MOTOR, GASKETS, ETC. IT IS
IMPORTANT TO UNDERTAKE THE MAINTENANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO EACH CAMPAIGN AND TO FOLLOW
THE MAINTENANCE SPECIFICATION SO AS TO ENSURE THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT, TO EXTEND
ITS USEFUL LIFE AND TO PREVENT THE INCIDENTS SUMMARISED IN SECTION 7.

VERIFICATION:
At the beginning of each spraying campaign, it is recommended to carry out the verifi cation using water
as regards the correct operation of the equipment. If damaged, repair prior to use with the original spare parts.

EXTEND GASKET SERVICE LIFE:
Lubricate the moving parts regularly. See photo [4.1]

NOZZLE CALIBRATION:
Prior to each spraying campaign, check the condition of the nozzle and replace if signifi cant
damage or wear and tear is discerned. [4.2]

SECURITY REGULATIONS
• European legislation requires the user to have received the necessary training for the use, cleaning and maintenance of
this type of products and equipment, in addition to having understood the dangers involved.
• Do not operate electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres or in the presence of fl ammable substances.
• Do not expose the electrical equipment to water or high humidity.
• Do not modify the apparatus. Do not use if damaged, deformed or changed from its original shape.
• Carefully read the chemical product’s label and follow the pre-registrations and doses recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not spray against the wind or on very windy days.
• Do not spray people, animals or electrical installations.
• Avoid contamination of land and waterways. For the disposal of empty containers and obsolete products comply with the
manufacturer’s recommendations and prevailing legislation.
• STATE OF CALIFORNIA PROPOSTION - PROP 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to one or more chemicals,
including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Wash hands after

PERSONAL SAFETY
• Use personal protective equipment such as goggles, masks, safety footwear, appropriate clothing and gloves.
• Do not use the equipment if one is tired or under the infl uence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
• In case of poisoning, consult your physician/doctor, have the chemical product container or label at hand.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke during the entire spraying process (preparation, treatment, cleaning etc.)
• Disconnect the battery equipment and secure the equipment prior to making any adjustments, changing any accessories,
transport (personally or in a vehicle), lifting or storing.
• After working with agrochemical products, wash hands and bare skin completely.
BATTERY
THE BATTERY IS A VERY SENSITIVE COMPONENT. COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS IN ORDER TO AVOID
RISK OF EXPLOSION, FIRE OR SERIOUS INJURY AND TO EXTEND ITS USEFUL LIFE.
