INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE CONTINUED

Motor thermostat 

Important:

This motor is equipped with a motor protective thermostat. If for some reason the vacuum cleaner 
should overheat, the thermostat will automatically turn the unit off. Should this occur turn power switch 
off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the wall outlet, change dust bag and clean filters. Allow the 
unit to cool for approximately 1 hour. To restart, plug the vacuum into the wall outlet and turn the 
vacuum cleaner back on.

Removing dust from dust canister:

1.) Lift dust canister handle
2.) Remove dust canister from vacuum by lifting out
3.) Press dust release lever located on the bottom of the canister to open the canister (please note this 
should be done over a rubbish bin as all contents will be released)

Removing & cleaning pre-motor filter and Hepa outlet filter
Warning:
Always unplug the unit from electrical outlet before removing the dust bag. 

a.Pre-motor filter

1.) Remove the dust canister as per instructions number 1 and 2 above
2.) Twist the top of the canister anti-clockwise and lift to release
3.) Twist the filter anti-clockwise while holding the top of the canister to remove filter
