Suspension System SU-9
ECU can be powered by both the batteries and the ignition switch. Power supply voltage: max. 30V, min. 18V.
ECU requires separate power supply and separate grounding (it shall be as far as possible from ground points of the
other electric equipment) system. Sharing circuits with other electric equipments is not allowed in order to prevent ECU
from burning..
3.5 Installation of ECU
The ECU of ECAS shall be installed in the sealed cabin of driver’s cab to prevent water and dust form entering, and
shall be away from heat insulation source as well as avoid impact with other items. ECU shall be installed with the
plughole downward, with fine installation position access. And reserve a space of 200mm below for check convenience.
3.6 Installation of lights and switches
According to the customer’s choice on ECAS functions, functional switches and indicators can be added on the
instrument panel .Such as ECAS system alarm lights, red, with power less than 5W.Select red ECAS indicators with
power less than 5W, which are used for indicating whether the vehicle is at the required height. Special height II
indicator, Kneeling indicator; normal height I/II changeover switch, switch of manual/automatic raising/descending
chassis, Kneeling switch and Kneeling halt switch. There is no need to install all the switches and indicators on one
chassis. The specific positions and labels of switches and lights are determined by the main unit manufacturer. No
substitution of indicators with diodes is allowed..
3.7 Test after installation
Test the installation of system components via the diagnosis equipments after the installation is finished. Such as
stimulate the solenoid valves, test the lights and switches, measure the height sensors reading, test the tachometer signal,
and measure the working voltage and the relay voltage of solenoid valves.
4.
