In the figure is an air-cooled single-cylinder air compressor, which is
driven by engine gear and provided with an air intake valve and an exhaust
valve. It is driven by engine gear and furnished with intake valve and exhaust
valve. When the engine runs, the air compressor also runs. When the piston
moves downward, a negative pressure is produced and the intake valve is
opened to let in the air. When the piston moves up, the air in the cylinder is
compressed and the intake valve is closed. The air pressure continues to rise
and overcome the prestress of the spring of the exhaust valve to open it. The
compressed air enters the air dryer via the pipeline and goes into the air
reservoir via a four-way protective valve.
When the air pressure exceeds the rated valve, the air pressure guided to
the control pressure outlet of pressure regulator via the dryer’s control port
will overcome the prestress of the unloading spring to open the unloading
valve and keep its intake valve open. At this time, though the air compressor still runs, the air is not compressed. The
air compressor is in idle motion.
When the air pressure is reduced to below the rated pressure, the pressure regulator will work again. The
compressed air in the upper part of the unloading valve will be exhausted to let the valve reset. The air compressor now
will be able to produce compressed air again.

Working principle
The compressed air coming from the air compressor contains
moisture, which, when condensed, will cause corrosion and make
the lubrication film invalid, and may cause the pipe freezing at low
temperature. The air dryer uses molecular sieve to remove the
moisture in the compressed air so as to ensure that the whole
unit will not be frozen, thus prolonging the service life of and
reducing the number of maintenance of the brake mechanism and
improving its reliability.
When the car runs, the compressed air goes from the air
