BR-6 Brake System BR-6125J93C-01
The air pressure enters from the port 1 and reaches simultaneously chambers a, d and chambers b, c. When the
pressure reaches the value for valve opening, the valves s, p, g, k will be opened and the compressed air will be
transmitted via the ports 21, 22, 23, 24. If one line, for example, the line 21 is failed, the one-way property of the valves
p, g, k ensures that the air pressure in the lines 22, 23 and 24 will not leak from the port 21. Meanwhile, the air pressure
in the lines 22, 23, 24 functions on the lower part of the diagrams f, o, l, making it easy for the air pressure from the
port 1 to open the valves p, g, k and continuing the air supply to the lines 22, 23, 24. When the air charging pressure
reaches or exceeds the value of 670~700kPa for opening the valve s, the air pressure will leak from the damaged line
21 while the pressure in the other normal lines will still be guaranteed. The four-way pressure protective valve can
ensure a normal operation of the other three lines at a slightly lower pressure when one of the lines is air-leaked.

Control and transmission devices of brake system
Master valve of air brake
Air brake valve is the main control device in the air service brake system for following-up and ensuring a
sufficiently strong pedal feel. At a constant input pressure, it makes the output pressure and the input of the control
signal -- the pedal stroke and pedal effort to form an increasing function relation. The change of its output pressure
should be progressive in certain scope. The output pressure of brake valve can be directly fed to the air brake chamber
of the transmission device as actuating line pressure or as control signal to another device (such as a relay valve) if
necessary.

Master valve of air brake
The air brake valve is of dual-chamber piston structure, with the upper and lower chambers providing a basically
same control air pressure to the rear and front brake chambers respectively. It is directly controlled by the driver for
service braking. When the air supply of one chamber or the working pipeline under its control is damaged, the other
chamber will work normally with unchanged output performance, greatly raising the service safety.
When the brake pedal m is pressed, the tappet k will be depressed to make the equalizing spring b and the piston c
move downward, eliminate the exhaust clearance d (1.2±0.2) and push the upper valve e open. Then, the compressed
