BR-60 Brake System BR-6125J93C-01
two-way single directional valve should have the intake port for foot valve point upward.
3.6 Lead connection
In respect to Model D, for the wiring of 4S/4M basic version, refer to 841 801 151; for the wiring of
4S/4M ABS/ASR, refer to 841 801 277; and for the wiring of 6S/6M ABS/ASR, refer to 841 801 278. In
respect to Model E, the wiring of 4S/4M, refer to 841 801 800 0; and for the wiring of 6S/6M, refer to
841 801 801 0. The connection of the connectors should be made in conformity with WABCO technical
specifications and using special tools. It is recommended to use WABCO special eight knot binding strip
to fix the leads.
3.7 Cab wire harness
z
ABS indicator and ARS light have a maximum power of 5w.
z
The terminals for ABS indicator and for grounding must be gilded to avoid that the indicator will
be normally lit due to rusting after a long time use.
z
The power wire must be furnished with a leaf fuse conforming to ISO/DIS 8820. The fuse
capacity should be selected strictly in accordance with the wiring diagram and can not be larger
than that specified in the wiring diagram.
z
In any case, the voltage drop should be smaller than 0.5V. Therefore, the power wire and
grounding of the electromagnetic valve should use 2.5mm wires and the nearer the grounding to
the ECU the better.
z
ECU and the electromagnetic valve share one grounding site and will not share it with other
electric equipment.
3.8 Electronic control unit ECU
ECU is connected to two power supplies, one from the storage battery which is the power source for
the solenoid vale and the other is from the ignition switch which is ECU power source. The maximum
and minimum voltages of the two power supplies are 30V and 18V respectively.
ECU installation: ECU should be installed in a sealed bin, which should be water-proof and far from
heat source, and should be kept from impact with any objects.
3.9 Switch and indicator
3.9.1 ABS/ASR lights
ABS/ASR lights
are yellow and have a power not greater than 5W, which can not be light emitting
diodes and should be installed on the panel for driver’s easy view. Model D ABS of basic version
(ECU: 446 004 310 0) needs one ABS indicator. Model D ABS/ASR (ECU: 46 004 416 0; 446 003
403 0; 446 003 416 0) needs two lights, one as ABS warning light and the other as ASR indicator.
Model EABS 4S/4M (ECU: 46 004 320 0) needs two lights, one as ABS warning light and the other
as ASR indicator (even if ASR function is not provided, ASR light will be installed for flashing code
diagnosis). Model E6S/6M (ECU: 446 003 705 0) needs two lights, one as ABS warning light and the
other ASR indicator (ASR indicator may not be installed if ASR function is not installed). For trailers,
a trailer ABS warning light will be added on the instrument panel.
3.9.2 Switch
In respect to D model, 4S/4M basic ABS system (ECU: 446 004 310 0) may choose the optional
offroad function selector switch (reset switch, optional). For 4S/4M with ASR function (ECU: 46 004 416
0), there are options of four switches: an ABS offroad switch (reset switch); an ASR control mode altering
switch (positioning switch); an ASR function elimination switch (reset switch); and a speed limit
elimination switch (positioning switch). For 6S/6M (with ASR function, ECU: 446 003 403 0), four
switches are optional: an ABS offroad switch (reset switch); an ASR control mode altering switch
