Break System BR-6125J93C-01 BR-61
(positioning switch); an engine control mode switch ((positioning switch); and a speed limit elimination
switch (positioning switch). For Model E (ECU: 46 004 320 0, 446 003 705 0), two switches are optional:
offroad function selector switch (reset switch, optional) and an ASR control mode altering switch (reset
switch, optional).
The above switches are all optional and can be selected by the vehicle manufacturers as required or not
be used at all.
To facilitate the trouble diagnosis of ABS system, it is recommended to install a reset switch near ABS
ECU (may not be installed on the instrument panel) for the flashing code diagnosis for ABS troubles.

How to judge if ABS works normally
You can judge if the ABS system works normally by observing the ABS indicator and an emergency
brake made at a car speed greater than 40 km/h.
4.1 Observing the ABS indicator
ABS indicator aims to inform the driver of the ABS system state and to display the diagnosis flashing
codes.
ABS indicator will work as follows:
ABS indicator is on instantly (for
about 3s) and goes off.
Indicating the ABS system is
normal.
Turn on the ignition switch
ABS indicator is always on.
If the indicator goes off when the
wheel speed is higher than
7km/h, the ABS system is
normal.
If the indicator will not go off
when the car speed is higher than
7km/h, the ABS system has
trouble.
Explanation: when the vehicle is started for the first time or after a system diagnosis is made, ABS
indicator will go off only when the car speed is higher than 7km/h (if the system has no trouble). The
indicator, after a secondary turn-on of the ignition switch, will act as shown in the above table.
4.2 Emergency braking
When the vehicle drives on a wide flat road at a speed higher than 40km/h, apply an emergency
braking and then observe the braking trace. If no trace is found, ABS functioned. If all wheels have drag
trace or one wheel has drag trace while the ABS indicator is normally lit, ABS system did not function or
the ABS of one wheel did not work. In this case, diagnosis and repair should be made on the ABS system
of the vehicle or on the ABS function of that wheel.
4.3 Confirmation that ABS works
For Model D 4S/4M, the procedure is
a)
Turn on the ignition switch
b)
Wait till ABS indicator goes off
