BATTERIES
1. Turn off power.
2. Place the power chair in drive mode.
3. Disconnect the bus cable coming from the joystick.
4. Remove the seat.
5. Remove the battery box form the power chair.
6. Remove the 9 screws on the bottom side of the battery box that are holding the lid on. See figure 11.
7. Remove the hardware connecting each battery cable to each battery terminal noting the hardware placement.
Note: Retain the hardware.
8. Remove the two batteries.
9. Place the two new batteries into the battery box. Reconnect each battery harness to each battery terminal and
tighten the hardware.
10. Reinstall the battery box cover.
11. Reinstall the battery box into the power chair.
12. Reinstall the seat.
12. Reconnect the bus cable coming from the joystick.
13. Power on and test the power chair.
