With an inappropriate installation you risk heavy damages
to property, e.g. by fire. The personal adhesion threatens
with damages to property and person for you.
For the installation in particular the following expertise is
necessary:
• The appropriate “5 safety rules” : De-energize, secure
against restarting, determine Deenergizing, grounding
and short circuiting, cover energized neighbouring parts
or provide it with barriers
• selection of the suitable tool, the measuring instruments
and if necessary the personal protection equipment
• evaluation of the measurement results
• selection of the electricity installation material for the se-
curing of the switching off conditions
• IP enclosures
• installation of the electrical installation material
• kind of the supply network (TN-system, IT-system, TT-
system) and the electrical operating conditions following
from it (classical protective grounding, protective groun-
ding, necessary additional measures, etc.)

the neutral point of an electrical supply system (blue)
PE:
Protective earth conductor; electrical conductor for
protection against electric shock (green-yellow)

• Mind placing cables in a way that nobody will be disa-
bled and the cable not be damaged.
• Use product, product parts and accessories only in per-
fect condition.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and di-
rect sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and mechanical
pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trou-
ble and other problems, non-recoverable by the docu-
mentation, contact your dealer or producer.

• Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against
accidental use.

2.1
Product
The product is a cable connector for waterproof merging or
distribution of electricity supply in outdoor areas.

3 Intended use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like descri-
bed in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safe-
ty Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms.
Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions
might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to per-
sons and property.
IP68:
This product is dust-proof against touch and protec-
ted against continuous immersion in water.

Preparation

tegrity.

Compare the specifications of all used devices and en

sure compatibility.

Installation
Risk of life by electric shock!
• Before working on the product, disconnect the cables
from the power supply by switching off the fuse and se-
curing it against being switched on again.
• Ensure that no voltage is present before starting work.
1. Unscrew the product parts for installation.
2. Prepare the cables to be connected by stripping them
(stripping length max. 12 mm).
3. Slide a sleeve (1) on each side and, if present, the
mounting adapter (2) in correct alignment over the ca-
bles.
4. Connect the yellow-green protective conductor (PE) on
the input and output side to the cable clamp (3) via the
screw terminals.
5. Connect the other two conductors on the input and out-
put side to the cable clamp (3) via the screw terminals.
6. Guide and screw the product parts tightly together to
ensure protection against contact and water.
7. Check that they have been carried out and laid correctly.
8. Switch the fuse on again.

Material damage
• Before working on the product, disconnect the cables
from the power supply by switching off the fuse and se-
curing it against being switched on again. Only use a
dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Maintenance and repair work should only be carried out
by qualified personnel.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry
and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

The product can be disposed with household waste.

• Les applicables „cinq règles de sécurité“: débloquer, sé-
curisé contre la reconnexion, au zéro de tension, cou-
verture ou bouclier terre et en court, les pièces avoisi-
nantes sous tension
• choisir l‘outil approprié, de l‘instrumentation et éventuel-
lement des équipements de protection individuelle
• evaluation des résultats de mesure
• choix du matériel d‘installation électrique pour assurer
l‘arrêt la protection de la propriété intellectuelle
• installation de matériel d‘installation électrique
• type de réseau de distribution (TN-système, système in-
