Use a GPIB cable to connect this product to the computer. The connector is on the rear of
this product. Turn off this product and the computer before connecting or disconnecting
the cable.

Avoid use in a place that has power fluctuation or under electrically noisy environment.
Before connecting or disconnecting the connector, turn off the power to all devices on the
bus.
When using the GPIB, turn on the power to all devices on the bus.
Ensure that the total cable length is within 20 meters.
Ensure that the length of one cable is within 4 meters.
Do not set the same address as the one used for any other device connected to the same
bus. Otherwise, the product cannot communicate properly.
Binary transmission is not supported.
Query for the main unit status byte using a serial poll is not supported.

Remote/Local State Switching
6.2.1
Remote State
In the Remote state, the control panel key operations are not accepted. However, the output off
(OUTPUT key) and the switching to the Local state (
+
) are accepted.
Switching to the Remote state
When communication is established after the command is sent from the computer to the
product, this product switches to the Remote state.
6.2.2
Local State
Control panel key operations are accepted.
Switching to the Local state
The Shortcut operation
+
switches to the state to Local.
