Maintenance and cleaning the filter
• Before cleaning or maintenance, always turn the appliance
off.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth only, then dry with a
dry cloth.
• The fan is fitted with a dust filter which retains the
impurities in the air taken in from the room.
• To clean, remove the filter at the side. If the filter resists
extraction, pull harder and remove it completely. Use a
vacuum cleaner to remove the dust deposited on the filter.
• If it is very dirty, immerse in warm water and rinse a number
of times. The temperature of the water must never exceed
40 °C.
• After washing, leave the filter to dry thoroughly. Then put it
back in the fan.
• You are recommended to clean the filter at least once a
month.
WARNING: Do not obstruct the air outlet and intake grills
on the fan. This could cause the appliance to overheat.
• Clean the filter thoroughly or remove possible obstructions
from the air intake or outlet grilles.
