03 Setup Menus
Audio
This option enables you to select the language used for the audio output. The default is English.
Note: This feature is only available if the DVD has the different audio languages. Refer to the DVD case for
details.
Subtitle
This option enables you to select the language used for the subtitles of the DVD playback. The default is
Off.
Note: This feature is only available if the DVD has been recorded with different subtitle languages. Refer to
the DVD case for details.
Disc Menu
This option enables you to select the language used for the menus presented on the DVD. The default is
English.
Note: This feature is only available if the DVD has been recorded with different menu languages. Refer to
the DVD case for details.
Parental
This option enables you to set a content level above which DVDs will not play. There are eight levels, the
lowest being ‘KID SAF’ then increasing in level to ‘ADULT’. There is also an option to turn the parental
control function off. The default is OFF.
For example if you set a level of ‘PG 13’, any DVDs rated ‘PG R’ and above will not play.
When you navigate to highlight the required level and select by pressing the ENTER button you will be
asked for a password. Enter the four digit password and press the ENTER button to set the parental
control level. The password is initially set to ‘0000’. To change the password, see below.
