PREPARING YOUR FREEVIEW
SWITCHING ON
When you first time switch on this recorder there will not be any FreeView channels stored in the unit and it will show
a message on the screen to start automatic search.. If you do not see the receivers menu on the television screen,
refer to the Troubleshooting.
TUNING IN
Because this is the first time that the receiver has been used, there are no channels stored in the receiver and the Auto
search selection menu is displayed on the screen.
Using the [LEFT] or [RIGHT] keys on the remote control, make sure that the YES button is highlighted and press the
[SELECT] key to start the automatic search.The DVB - T receiver will automatically tune to the UHF transmission
channels 21 to 68 looking for digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying the names of channels found. This process
may take about a few minutes.
When the search is finished, the first channel of the channel list and the information banner is displayed you can
now watch digital terrestrial television, selecting the channel you require as described in the next section.
