4. PREPARATION FOR USE

CAUTION: 

Ensure the system is not plugged into an AC mains outlet while connecting the speakers.

1. Connect the centre speaker to the  "CENTRE SPEAKER OUT SOCKET"
2. Connect the front left speaker to the "FRONT L SPEAKER OUT SOCKET"
3. Connect the front right speaker to the "FRONT R SPEAKER OUT SOCKET"
4. Connect the surround (rear) left speaker to the "SURROUND L SPEAKER OUT SOCKET”
5. Connect the surround (rear) right speaker to the "SURROUND R SPEAKER OUT SOCKET”
6. Connect other audio components to the  "AUX L INPUT" and  "AUX R INPUT",  "TV L INPUT" and

"TV R INPUT" or  "CD L INPUT" and  "CD R INPUT" SOCKETS

Cleaning

n

Unplug the appliance before you clean it.

n

Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.

n

Clean your appliance with a soft, damp (not wet) cloth.

Ventilation

n

The slots and openings on the appliance are for ventilation. Do not cover or block them as it could lead to
overheating.

n

NEVER let children push anything into the holes or slots on the case.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Power source

You should only plug the appliance into a 230V  AC, 50Hz supply.

Safety considerations

n

Position the power supply lead and other leads so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by things
placed on or against them.

n

Do not use the appliance in humid or damp conditions. Do not allow the appliance to get wet, ie. dripping or
splashing, as this may be dangerous. Do not place water filled objects, such as vases, on top of the appliance.

n

Make sure that no naked flame sources, such as candles, are placed on top of the appliance.

5 Channel DVD player connections.

ψ 

  Connect the Front Left and Right terminals of your DVD player to the Front Left and Right

      terminals of the GHC50 / GHC51 / GHC51G.

ψ 

  Connect the Rear Left and Right terminals of your DVD player to the Rear Left and Right

terminals of the GHC50 / GHC51 / GHC51G.

ψ 

  Connect the Centre terminals of your DVD player to the Centre terminals of the GHC50 / GHC51

/ GHC51G.

ψ 

  If Subwoofer output is available on your DVD player then connect this to the Subwoofer

       terminals of the GHC50 / GHC51 / GHC51G.

Note: When using a basic stereo (two connection) DVD player then connect the left and right terminals

   of the DVD to the Front Left and Front Right terminals on the GHC50 / GHC51.
