USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Your dryer
is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed. For
proper operating performance, the dryer must be kept clean.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the dryer
to overheat.
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety
device will shut the dryer off to prevent damage or
personal injury. If the unit cycles off, unplug the cord and
allow the dryer to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before
restarting. Make sure the air vents are clean.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord tightly around
the dryer. Damage will occur at the high flex point of entry
into the dryer, causing it to rupture and short. Inspect the cord
frequently for damage.
Stop use immediately if damage is
visible or unit stops or operates intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not operate properly,
return it for repair to an authorized Goody service representa-
tive only. No repairs should be attempted by the consumer.
Care Instructions for Easy-Clean Air Filter
• Clean your air filter regularly for better performance and longer life.
• Unplug dryer before you begin cleaning the air filter.
• Wipe all dust and hair from the air filter with a damp cloth.
• Make sure the filter is completely dry before turning the dryer on again.
STORAGE - IMPORTANT
When not in use, your dryer
should be disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a safe,
dry location, out of reach of children.
Do not wrap line cord
around dryer.
Allow the cord to hang or lie loose and straight
at the point of entry into the dryer. Be sure to untwist cord
before using.
When using electrical appliances, especially when
children are present, basic safety precautions should
be followed, including the following:

As with most electrical appliances,
electrical parts are electrically live even when switch
is off. To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
• Always unplug this dryer from the electrical outlet
immediately after using.
• Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
• Unplug this dryer before cleaning it.
• Do not use a dryer whose cord has become twisted,
bent or otherwise damaged.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immedi-
ately. Do not reach into the water.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or
be pulled into a tub or sink.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or
injury:
1. This dryer is for household use only.
2. This dryer should never be left unattended when it is plugged in.
Turn off the switch and unplug the cord when not in use.
3. This appliance should not be used by, on, or near children or by
individuals with certain disabilities.
4. Use this dryer only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by manu-
facturer.
5. Do not attempt to repair this product. Goody Products Inc.
does not have an authorized service center. However, if this
appliance is still under warranty, return it to the Goody Products
Consumer Relations Department for replacement. This appli-
ance has no user serviceable parts.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not pull, twist, or wrap cord around the dryer, even during
storage.
8. Never operate this dryer if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is
not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it
has been dropped into water.
9. Never drop or insert any object into any of the dryer’s
openings.
10. Never use while sleeping.
11. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products
are being used, or where oxygen is being administered.
12. Always store this dryer and cord in a moisture-free area.
13. Do not plug or unplug this dryer when your hands are wet.
14. Do not use an extension cord or voltage converter with
this dryer.
15. Never wrap the cord around the dryer, as this will cause the
cord to wear prematurely and break.
16. When not in use, unplug the dryer. Allow it to cool, and store
out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.
17. Handle cord carefully, and avoid jerking, twisting, or straining
it, especially at plug connections.
18. Do not use in countries with 220/240 volt electrical systems;
use only with 110/120 volt electrical systems.
19. While using the dryer, keep your hair away from the air inlet.
20. Do not place dryer on any surface while it is operating.
Attachments
• To attach the concentrator or diffuser attachment, align the
angle of the attachment to the angle of the dryer nozzle.
Then, apply moderate pressure and press the attachment
towards the dryer. You will hear a slight “click” when the
attachment is firmly in place.
• To remove the concentrator or diffuser attachment, grasp
firmly in the middle of the attachment, pull gently in a
straight line away from the dryer.
WARRANTY
Limited 3 Year Warranty
For three years from the Date of Purchase, Goody Prod-
ucts Inc. warrants that this product is in good working con-
dition and free from defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty does not include damage to the product
resulting from accident or misuse.

In order qualify for our Three-Year Limited Warranty; you
must register the product within 30 days of the purchase
date either by mail or online.
HOW TO REDEEM
To redeem warranties under this policy, return the defective
product to the address below, together with your original
purchase receipt and $5.00 for postage and handling.
California residents need only provide proof of purchase
and should call 1-800-241-4324 for shipping instructions.
In the absence of a purchase receipt, and if you register
within 30 days of purchase, the warranty period shall be 24
months from the date the product was manufactured.
This warranty does not cover:
1. Normal wear and tear, such as shorts in the power supply cord
or plug or excessive hair in dryer.
2. Damage due to misuse and abuse, such as wrong voltage sup-
ply, dropping or neglect in safety precautions or foreign objects
inside dryer.
3. Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair by an unauthor-
ized party. We disclaim any responsibility for damage caused to
property or persons, including any incidental or Consequential
damages.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not al-
low the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential dam-
ages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This dryer is intended for household use only.
This dryer has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO
NOT attempt to force the plug into the outlet if it does not fit.
ALCI Safety Device
This hair dryer is provided with an appliance
leakage circuit interrupter (ALCI) safety device built into the plug. This
safety device is designed to make the dryer inoperable under some
abnormal conditions, such as accidental immersion in water. The ALCI
safety device is equipped with a test button so that its operation can
be checked. Periodically check the safety plug to verify that it is in
proper working order. In the event the test button does not work
properly, return the dryer to a service center or the manufacturer.
To test:
After plugging in your hair dryer:
1. Press the reset button on the ALCI device.
2. Press the test button. The reset button will pop out.
This verifies that the safety device is operating properly.
3. Press the reset button to reactivate your ALCI safety
device.
4. Your hair dryer is now ready for use.
For US Residents only:
In the event of immersion, the
protective device will not allow the dryer to operate.
21. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat-
sensitive areas.
22. Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool
before handling.
23. Never block the air openings of the dryer or place it on the
soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint and hair.
