carefully read the instructions.
Safety precautions
1.
ATTENTION! During use, the handles and the
lid will get hot. Use a dry cloth, pot holder or
kitchen mitts.
2.
Make sure you only place a hot pan on a
protected or heat resistant surface, or a trivet.
3.
ATTENTION! The product heats up very
quickly. Therefore, always keep an eye on it
when cooking with oil or grease as it may catch
fire.
4.
ATTENTION! Do not heat up the pan when it is
empty as this may cause the enamel to peel.
5.
To avoid damaging the product, do not use any
sharp objects, be careful not to scratch it, and
do not cut the food directly in the pan.
6.
Use wooden cooking utensils and utensils
made of heat-resistant plastic.
7.
ATTENTION! Always lift the pan and NEVER
slide it around a glass-ceramic cooking hob as
this may damage the pan and the cooking hob
surface.
8.
ATTENTION! When cooking on rough surfaces,
the pan bottom may be damaged. Handle it with
care, as a damaged pan bottom can in turn
cause damage to other cooking surfaces.
9.
The product is suitable for use in all ovens and
on cooking hobs, up to a temperature of 240 °C.
When using it in an oven, always place it on the
grid, and never on the oven bottom. Make sure
the flames of a gas cooker do not come up the
sides of the pan.
10.
Use a burner or cooking zone suitable for the
pan.
11.
The pan is not suitable for use in a microwave
oven.
12.
The pan is not dishwasher safe.

sure it is not dropped as this may damage the
surface below the product.
14.
Do not use the lid if you notice the lid handle is
not fastened. In this case, fasten the screws on
the lid.
Before using the appliance for the first time
1.
Remove all packaging and labels from the
product.
2.
Fill the pan with water and bring the water to a
boil at least twice in order to remove any
substances left from the manufacturing
process.
3.
Wash the pan manually, using washing-up
liquid and warm water; then, wipe it dry.
Use
1.
Start heating the product at low temperature;
then, increase it gradually.
2.
The surface is not suitable for dry cooking as
this may cause the enamel to peel. Make sure
the bottom is fully covered.
3.
Be careful not to add any ingredients from which
water could drip onto hot oil as this can cause
the oil to splash.
4.
Cast iron pans retain heat very well. Therefore,
cooking and roasting at medium temperature
will suffice.
5.
Do not cook at high temperatures when using
this pan.
6.
Bright enamel in the pan interior is especially
suitable for slow cooking at low to medium
temperature, either on a cooking hob or in an
oven.
7.
The lid is designed so that steam is condensed
during cooking and distributed equally over the
food. Thus, the food will stay moist and full of its
natural aroma.
Useful tips for cooking delicious and healthy
food
1.
Juices: the juices in the food contain vitamins
and other valuable ingredients that are vital to
the flavour of the dish. For the best quality of
food, do not use oil or water for cooking. Food
cooked in this way will be tastier if served with
the juices left in the pan.
2.
Suitable pan size: before cooking, select the
cookware depending on the amount of food to
be cooked. Make sure the food does not reach
higher than 2/3 of the total pan height.
3.
Cooking time: when your food comes to a boil,
reduce the heat or power of your cooking hob.
If possible, do not open the lid to retain the
juices in the food and cook it in a healthy
manner.
4.
Energy saving tip: when the food comes to a
boil, reduce the power of your hob. A few
minutes before the end of the cooking process,
