• Do not immerse the iron in water or any
other liquid.
• Do not use the iron when it is damaged
or it works improperly.
• Do not roll the power cord around the
iron for storage until it has cooled down
completely.
• Do not attempt to open the cabinets or
dismantle any parts from the iron; there is
no serviceable part inside.
• The iron must be used and rested on a
stable surface
• The iron is not to be used if it has
been dropped, if there are visible
signs of damage or if it is leaking.
HOW TO FILL WATER
Fill the water tank with tap water up to the maximum
level by means of the filling cup.Do not fill the tank
beyond the MAX indication. If the tap water in your
area is very hard, we advise you to use distilled water.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Set the required ironing temperature by turning the
temperature dial to the appropriate position.
Check the laundry care label for the required ironing
temperature:

Synthetic fabrics (e.g. acrylic, nylon,
polyamide, polyester)

Silk,Woll
• • • Cotton, linen
DRY IRONING
Adjust The Variable Steam Control/Self Cleaning
Knob to minimum position "o" (picture 3).
Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction;
select V (1 dot), W (2 dots) or‘« ^ ' (3 dots)
according to the recommendation of garment label.
STEAM IRONING
Make sure that there is enough water in the water
tank. Select the recommended ironing temperature.
Select the appropriate steam setting. Make sure that
the steam setting you select is suitable for the ironing
temperature selected :
• for moderate steam (picture 3)
• for maximum steam (picture 4 )
SPRAY FUNCTION
You can use the spray function to remove stubborn
creases at any temperature.
Make sure that there is enough water in the water
tank.
Press the spray button several times to moisten the
article to be ironed.(picture 5)
BURST OF STEAM (picture 6)
A powerful shot of concentrated steam helps remove
stubborn creases.The forward-directed concentrated
shot of steam enhances the distribution of steam into
every part of your garment.The shot-of-steam
function can only be used at temperature settings
between • • and MAX. Press and release the shot-
of-steam button .Betwen every shot wait for few
seconds.
VERTICAL SHOT OF STEAM
The shot-of-steam function can also be used when
you hold the iron in vertical position.This is useful for
removing creases from hanging clothes, curtains etc.
Hold the iron betwen 15 and 30 centimeters away
from the garment .(picture 7)
Never direct the steam towards people.
DRIP STOP
This iron is equipped with a drip-stop function: the iron
automatically stops producing steam when the
temperature is too low to prevent water from dripping
out of the soleplate.When this happens you may
hear a sound.
AUTOMATIC ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
The built-in anti-calc system reduces the build-up of
scale and guarantees a longer life for the iron.
ELECTRONIC SAFETY SHUT-OFF
FUNCTION
The electronic safety shut-off function automatically
switches off the iron if it has not been moved for a
while. The red auto-off pilot light starts blinking to
indicate that the iron has been switched off by the
safety shut-off function.To let the iron heat up again,
pick up the iron or move it slightly. The red auto-off
ilot light goes out. If the temperature of the soleplate
as dropped below the set ironing temperature, the
temperature pilot light goes on.
S E L F CLEAN BUTTON
This function removes the scales and minerals built
up in the Steam Chamber. The iron will remain in the
best condition if this function is performed at least
once a month or more regularly depending on the
hardness of the water used.Turn the Temperature
Dial in clockwise direction to ‘•
m
' setting.
Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is
reached.Wait for one more cycle; pilot light glows and
goes off.Turn the Temperature Dial in anti-clockwise
direction to ‘Min'. Disconnect the iron from mains
supply outlet.Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
Push and hold the SELF-CLEA N Knob (2) (D.Steam
and boiling hot water will drain from the holes on the
soleplate washing away the scales and minerals that
have built up inside the Steam Chamber.
Gently move the iron back and forth until the water
tank is empty. When Self-Cleaning is complete,
release the Steam Control/Self-Cleaning Knob.Rest
your steam iron back on its heel rest and allow to fully
cool down.
Wipe the soleplate with a cold damp cloth.
