The following recipe makes 6 ice cream cones
Instructions
1. Turn on your Ice Cream Cone & Waffl
e Dish Maker and allow to pre-heat.
2. Combine all ingredients except the milk in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Add the
milk gradually until a pouring (not runny) consistency is achieved. Rest the mix for
10 minutes.
3. When the green light turns off the machine is ready to use. Add two tablespoons of
the mix to the centre of the cooking surface (don’t spread it out) and close the lid.
4. Cook for 2 minutes or until a golden brown colour is achieved all over.
5. Transfer to a plate and shape quickly into a cornet using the cornet shape provided.
The trick is to ensure that the bottom is tightly closed and the seam is fl at against
the cornet. Practice shaping the cornets using a circle of paper because you only
have seconds to shape the cornets before they begin to harden.
6. Store in an airtight container once cold, ideally eat on same day as made.
You can also decorate your ice cream cones with melted chocolate and sprinkles.
Simply dip the cone or bowl into the chocolate and top with sprinkles, leave to cool
before serving.
