Using the Device and Preparing Food
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Do not place food that is still packed in plastic wrap or plastic bags in the device.
■
Make sure that the drawer has been inserted correctly! The device cannot be switched
on if the drawer is not inserted correctly.
■
Do not leave the device unattended during use.
■
Make sure that the food does not come into contact with the heating element of the
device.
■
Do not over
fi
ll the drawer so that the hot air can circulate optimally inside the cooking
chamber. It should be no more than 2/3 full.
■
The drawer is hot after being removed from the device! Only ever place it on a
heat-resistant surface!
■
Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned, fallen or been dropped in water. Have
it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
•
In general, you can prepare all dishes that can also be prepared in a con-
ventional fan oven. For good results, read through the “Tips” chapter.
• We recommend always using the device with a rack so that the hot air
can circulate optimally inside the cooking chamber.
1. Insert the rack (
7
) into the drawer (
9
).
2. Place the food that is to be prepared into the drawer.
3. Insert the drawer into the device.
4. Switch on the device by touching the
fi
eld
(
22
). The preset temperature of the
Manual
programme is shown on the display (
16
).
5. Use the
fi
eld
(
20
) to select the programme you want or stay on the preset
Manu-
al
programme (see the “Operation” chapter – “Operating Elements and Functions”).
If necessary, adjust the temperature and the timer time individually using the relevant
fi
elds
(
17
) and
(
18
) (see the “Operation” chapter – “Operating Elements and
Functions”).
6. The selected programme starts automatically after approx. 5 seconds. It can also be
started by touching the
fi
eld
(
21
). The device starts to heat up.
7. Once the set timer time has elapsed, the supply of heat is ended automatically. Six
beeps indicate the end of the cooking process. The control lamp goes out and the
display shows “– – –”.
By touching the
fi
eld
or the
fi
eld
during the cooking process, it can be
manually paused or aborted at any time.
8. Pull the drawer
out of the device by the handle (
8
) and place it down on a heat-
resistant, non-slip surface.
Beware of burns! The drawer and the food which is
prepared are hot! Use oven gloves.
9. Remove the food.
10. Allow the device to cool down and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
