Before Initial Use
1. Remove any possible
fi
lms, stickers or transport protection from the device.
Never
remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
2. The device should be used for the
fi
rst time without any food in it as it may produce
some smoke or odours due to coating residues. Allow the device to heat up on the
highest temperature setting for approx. 10 minutes without any food in it (see the
“Use” chapter).
3. Rinse all accessory parts thoroughly. Follow the instructions in the "Cleaning" chapter
to do this.
Functions and Safety Features
Overheating Protection
The device has overheating protection. If the internal temperature is too high, the device
is automatically switched off by the overheating protection. In this case, pull the mains
plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down completely.
Automatic Switch-Off
• The device is equipped with an internal timer. Once the set timer time has elapsed,
the supply of heat is automatically switched off. The fan will continue to run for a little
longer to cool down the device. If the device is to be switched on again, touch the
symbol (

.
• As soon as the drawer (

is pulled out of the device, the device switches off. When it
is pushed back into the device, it resumes cooking.
Stand-By
As soon as the mains plug is plugged in the plug socket and the drawer (

is pushed into
the device, the device is in stand-by mode. The
symbol (

is lit.
The device automatically switches to stand-by mode
• when no button is pressed for 60 seconds,
• when the set time has elapsed,
• when
the symbol is touched for three seconds.
