The temperatures and times speci
fi
ed in the table are merely an indication.
It is
essential to make sure prior to serving that meat and poultry in particular is
fully cooked through.
It may be necessary to adjust the temperature and time
depending on the size and weight of the food. It is possible to change the set tem-
perature and time of the preprogrammed menus. To do this, you follow the same
procedure as for manual setting. However, this is not possible if the
P
Preheating
programme is used.
Extend the preparation time by 3 minutes if the device is cold or use the
P
Preheat-
ing programme.
8. Touch the symbol (
10
) to start the cooking process. If the
symbol is touched
again, the cooking process is interrupted.
During cooking, the
fan symbol (
16
)
changes colour. Green means the device
has reached the temperature you want. If the
fan symbol is lit up red, the de-
vice is heating up.
9. Some ingredients need to be mixed around after half the preparation time. To do this,
pull the drawer out of the device by the handle and place it down on a heat-resistant
surface, e.g. a trivet. Slide the cover off the release button by the handle, press the
release button and take the basket out of the drawer. Shake around the contents of
the basket over the drawer. Then insert the basket back into the drawer and slide it
into the device. The device resumes the cooking process.
10. Once the cooking time has elapsed, the device switches off automatically and a beep
is heard.
If the device is to be stopped before this, touch the symbol. To switch the device off
completely, then touch the
symbol for three seconds.
11. Take the drawer out of the device as described in step 9 and place it down on a
heat-resistant surface. Remove the basket and serve the food.
12. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket after use.
13. Allow the drawer, the basket and the device to cool down and then clean them (see
the “Cleaning” chapter).
