Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!

Burn hazard attributed to hot device parts and accessories!
Let the device and
accessories cool off each time before you clean them.

Danger of electrocution!
Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
Never immerse the heating plate, the mains cord or plug in water or other liquids
and do not rinse them off under running water. Never place the heating plate in the
dishwasher.

When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the surface. Do not use any metallic objects.
1. Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains electricity supply and that all
device parts have cooled off completely.
2. Take the lids off of the food trays and lift the food trays out of the frame. If necessary,
empty the food trays. Take the frame off of the heating plate.
3. Clean the food trays, the lids and, if necessary, the frame with plain, warm water and
a small amount of mild detergent. The food trays and lids can be cleaned in the dish-
washer. Let all parts dry completely.
4. Clean the heating plate with a damp, soft cloth and if applicable, with a small amount
of detergent. Then dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
5. Stow the device and accessories out of the reach of children and animals. Store them
in a dry area not exposed to direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself

rst. Otherwise contact customer service.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Is the temperature control set to OFF (has the device been
turned off)?
