Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts.
The socket must also be easily accessible after the appliance has been connected.
The mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the appliance. Only use
proper extension cords, whose technical data correspond to those of the appliance.

Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not allow
the cord to hang over the edge of a table or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch
him/herself and pull down the appliance.

Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
Proper use

Only use the device once it has been properly assembled and does not exhibit any
visible damages.

If the device is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In the event of damage,
contact customer service (see chapter “Customer service”).

Do not use any additional accessories. Only use the enclosed accessories from the
manufacturer.
❐
During use, keep your hair, hands and other body parts away from the device!
❐
Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐
Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe changes in temperature,
direct sunlight or moisture.
❐
Only boneless meat and pitted/seedless fruits may be sliced!
❐
Do not use the device continuously for more than 10 minutes. Then, let the device
cool off for 20 minutes before using it again.

Remove the mains plug from the socket,

if you are not using the device,

if a fault occurs during operation,

before a storm,
–
before removing accessories,
–
before cleaning the device and the accessories.

If you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but
always on the plug.
❐
Never touch the device, the cord or the plug with wet hands.
❐
Allow the device to cool off completely before you clean it.
❐
The device and the accessories are not suitable for the dishwasher!
