position to activate the device.
10. Push the food you intend to slice gently against the guide wall using the
fi
nger guard
and use the slicing carriage to slowly push it against the rotating cutting blade (

11. To cut more slices, pull the slicing carriage back and cut the next slice.
12. To switch off the device, set the On/Off switch to the
0
position.
After slicing
13. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
14. Set the cutting width to
0.
15. Push the slicing carriage up to the stop point towards the cutting blade.
16. If there is leftover food on the cutting blade, especially when cutting fatty foods (e.g.
sausage, cheese), clean the cutting blade and device (see chapter “Cleaning”).
Cleaning
ATTENTION!

Never touch the cutting surface of the
cutting blade; instead always grasp the holder.

Pull the mains plug out of the socket before you clean the device!

Danger of electrocution!
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids and
never hold it under running water. Never touch the device, cord or plug with wet hands.

Caution! Damage to the device!
The device and the accessories are not suitable
for the dishwasher!

The surfaces could be damaged as a result!
Do not use any aggressive or abra-
sive cleaners or cleaning pads.
1. Pull the slicing carriage back as far as it will go.
2. Take the
fi
nger guard off of the device.
3. Unscrew the locking screw (

) clockwise.
4. Carefully remove the cutting blade.
5. Wipe off the device with a damp cloth. You can also rinse the
fi
nger guard and cut-
ting blade with water and a mild detergent.
6. Dry off all parts.
7. Insert the cutting blade back in the device and tighten the locking screw by turning
it counterclockwise.
