8. Once the device has reached its operating temperature, the temperature display is lit up
constantly. Now you can start grilling.
9. Use as a contact grill: Open the device and place a sandwich,
meat or poultry onto the lower grill plate. Close the grill for a
few minutes. Remove the food when it is as cooked and brown
as you want it to be. Do not leave the switched-on grill open
unnecessarily in order to minimise heat loss.
10. Use as a table grill: Place your food on the grill plates and turn it from time to time until
it is cooked.
11. After grilling, switch off the grill plates using the buttons (if the timer has not been set)
and pull the plug out of the plug socket.
12. Allow the grill plates to cool down before you clean the device and store it away.
Cleaning and Storage

Always allow the device and the contents of
the fat collecting tray to cool down completely before you dispose of the contents and
clean the parts.

Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the
device.

Risk of electric shocks and material damage from incorrect handling of the

Liquid must not get into the device. Liquid which penetrates into the device can
cause a short circuit and set

re to the device. Never immerse the device, the mains cable
or plug in water. Never place the device in the dishwasher.

Do not spray any cleaning agents directly onto the grill.
❐
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These could damage
the surface. Do not use metal objects.
1. Make sure that the grill is not connected to the mains power and has cooled down.
2. Remove the fat collecting tray and empty it.
3. Wipe down the two grill plates using a paper towel. Make sure that no fat, oil or other
contaminants get inside the housing.
4. When you want to rinse off the grill plates, remove them from the device (see "Removing
/ Inserting Grill Plates").
5. Clean the grill plates and the fat collecting tray with warm water and mild detergent or in
the dishwasher.
6. Wipe the grill housing with a clean, damp cloth.
7. Dry all parts thoroughly.
8. Insert the grill plates and the fat collecting tray into the device.
9. Store the device in a clean, dry place that is not accessible to children.
