This kit installs Yakima roof rack tracks onto your Eurovan Winnebago camper.
INSTALLATION
1. Lay each rail in place in the indented grooves of the pop-up portion of your roof.
2. Position the rear edge of the rails (without end caps) so they are 3” forward of the
rearmost flat part of the groove in your roof (measure from where the roof starts
curving down). See the diagram below for reference.
3. Slide the rails towards the outside of the grooves in your roof. The inside of the
rails should be 40.5” apart and evenly positioned side to side. Tape down the
rear of the rails to secure their position.
4. Adjust the front of the rails so they are 40.5” apart and evenly positioned side to
side. Carefully verify that the rails are exactly parallel. Securely tape the rails
down in several places, but don’t cover any of the mounting holes.
5. Check again to make sure the rails are parallel!
6. Using rails as a guide, drill through each hole with the 7/32” drill bit (EXCEPT

7. Remove the rails, enlarge the holes to 3/8”, and place a rubber nut insert into
each hole. A bit of silicone sealant is recommended to ensure a watertight fit.
8. Put the rails back on the roof. Place the end caps (supplied with the rails) onto the
rails and start the stainless screws into the inserts. Once everything is lined up and
looking good, tighten all screws until they are snug. No need to crank them down
with a ratchet, a nice firm twist with a screwdriver is all that is required.
