Prepare the isolation system for service. Follow

Use a flat blade screwdriver to open the isolation
cabinet door.
3.
Slide the electrostatic shield (82) up to remove.
Remove the Merkur electrostatic shield (12).
Open the isolation valve cover (99).
4.
Inspect the following locations in the isolation
cabinet:
• Inlet valve (F)
• Isolation valve (G)
Wipe off any build-up off of the isolation valve
components (211, 222).
• Connections to the pump
• Connection to the fluid outlet hose (E)
• Connection to the Merkur pump (L)
• Check Merkur pump throat seal liquid (TSL)
reservoir

Inspect the gun for fluid leaks. See your gun
manual.

Any fluid leaking or pooling inside the system can
cause low system voltage or arcing that damages
system components. Clean and dry leaks.

Open the isolation valve cover (99).
4.
Unscrew and remove the wash fluid reservoir
(W).
5.
Fill the wash fluid reservoir (W) with clean
HydroShield cleansing solution (25R200) and
replace it in the cabinet.
