Flushing
Flushing
Flushing
• Flush before changing fluids, before fluid can dry
in the equipment, at the end of the day, before
storing, and before repairing equipment.
• Flush at the lowest pressure possible. Check
connectors for leaks and tighten as necessary.
• Flush with a fluid that is compatible with the fluid
being dispensed and the equipment wetted parts.
To reduce the risk of fire, explosion, or electric
shock:
• Turn OFF (O) the ES On-Off switch before
flushing the gun.
• Always ground equipment and waste containers.
• Flush equipment only in a well-ventilated area.
• Use only Group IIA flushing materials.
Non-ignitable fluids are preferred.
• To avoid static sparking and injury from
splashing, always flush at the lowest possible
pressure.
