Pressure Relief
Procedure
Shutdown
1.
Engage piston safety lock.
2.
Set function knob to Stop/Park
.
3.
Turn Recirc/Spray valves to Recirc.
Fluid will be dumped to pails. Pumps will
move to the bottom of their stroke.
Ensure gauges drop to 0.
Fusion
For longer breaks (more than 10 minutes),
use the following procedure. If you will be
shut down for more than 3 days, first see
Flushing, page 24.
1.
Follow all steps of Pressure Relief Pro-
cedure, at left.
2.
If using an impingement mix gun, close
gun fluid valves A and B. Doing this will
keep the internal parts of the gun
cleaner and prevent crossover.
3.
Shut off Heater Power (heated units
only).
4.
Shut off Motor Power.
5.
Shut off Compressor Power.
6.
Remove pails from mounting bracket.
7.
Refer to your separate gun manual and
perform the Shutdown procedure.
