Boom Extend Circuit
Boom extend is a regenerative circuit. When the R.H. Joystick is pushed forward, pressurized pilot fluid is directed
to the front end cap of the boom main control valve opening port A. The spool moves allowing main pump
fluid to feed the barrel side of the cylinder. Return fluid from the rod side of the cylinder is blocked at the control
valve, port B, from returning to the reservoir. It joins main pump fluid to fill the barrel side of the cylinder. This
forces the telescope boom to extend. Since rod side fluid is joined to the pump fluid, both sides of the cylinder
are pressurized. The piston area in the barrel is larger than the area in the rod side of the cylinder. This imbalance
of area forces the boom to extend.
