to your preference
Technical development never comes to an
end. There is always something to change
and to improve in devices and machines.
Even our espresso machines have been op-
timised. So, behind the shapely facade of
our contessa, there are almost sensational
technical novelties:
Three in one
In an espresso machine a boiler usually sto-
res the water. Contessa, however, has three
thermoblocks! One thermoblock is used for
the espresso infusion, a second one for the
steam, and the third for preheating the group
head. In this way, the machine is ready for
action faster. That saves time and energy.
On-demand
preparation
At a rule, espresso machine stay switched on
for a long time - and consume an enormous
amount of energy because the water stora-
ge has to be kept hot continuously. For this
not minor problem, we have developed the
“on-demand preparation”:
Usually it takes 15 to 20 minutes
from switching the unit on until
serving espresso. In this case, contessa
needs only about 2 to 3 minutes.
