Before connecting the unit, compare the connecting data (voltage and fre-
quency) on the type plate with those of your energy network. These details
must correspond so that no damage occurs to the unit.
●
Check to see that the power cable has been safely laid. Due to getting
caught on the cable, the unit might fall down from the work surface.
●
Packaging materials must not be used for playing. There is a danger of suf-
focation.
●
Never use the unit in the vicinity of a source of heat.
●
Never use the appliance outdoors, and always keep it in a dry place.
●
When filling in, after every use as well as prior to every cleaning, the plug
must be removed from the socket.
●
Do not use any aggressive or abrasive detergents and no solvents.
●
Do not scratch off stubborn soiling with hard objects.
●
Avoid unnecessary switching On and Off of the unit in order to prevent dam-
ages of the compressor. Keep an interval of 5 minutes between switching On
and Off the unit.
●
Metal sheets or other electrical objects must not be inserted into the unit in
order to avoid fire or a short circuit.
●
When taking out ice cream, do not knock on the surface or the margin of the
container with an other object in order to avoid damage of the container.
●
Do not start the unit if the ice cream container or the stirring whisk have not
been properly inserted.
●
Ensure that the unit is not tilted more than 45°, because this can damage the
compressor.
●
The mains cable connector and the ventilation should not be soaked. Do not
immerse the unit in water or other liquids, in order to avoid an electrical shock.
●
Make sure that the ventilation slots are not blocked at any time.
●
During operation, do not hold any objects into the running unit and do not
reach into it with your hands.
●
In the unit, do not store any flammable or explosive substances such as aero-
sol containers with flammable propellant gas.
WARNING: Risk of fire!
The cooling circuit contains the coolant R600a, a natural, environmentally
friendly gas which is flammable. Make sure that the cooling circuit is not
damaged during transport or installation.
