Life hazard due to electrical
current!
Danger of life upon contact with
live wires or components!
Adhere to the following safety
notices to avoid hazard due to
electrical current:

Do not use the device if the
connecting line or the plug is
damaged.
►
Have the connecting line repla-
ced only by the manufacturer
or his customer service or a
likewise qualified person prior
to using the device to avoid
hazards.
►
Do not open the casing of
the device. If live sockets are
touched and the electrical and
mechanical structure is modi-
fied, hazard due to electrical
shock is given.
►
Do not use the device if it is
still wet from cleaning.
►
Never touch live parts. They
can cause electrical shock or
even lead to death.
Basic safety notices
Adhere to the following safety noti-
ces for a safe handling of the device:

Check the device for outer visible
damages on the casing, the con-
necting cable and plug prior to
use. Do not operate a damaged
device.
■
If the connecting line of the de-
vice is damaged, it may be repla-
ced only by the manufacturer or
his customer service or a likewise
qualified person to avoid hazards.
■
Repairs may only be done by a
specialist or Graef customer ser-
vice. Improper repairs may cause
massive hazards for the user. In
addition, the warranty becomes
void.
■
A repair of the device during the
warranty period may only be done
by the Graef customer service,
otherwise no warranty is given for
following damages.
■
Defective components may only
be replaced with original spare
parts. This is the only way to gu-
arantee that they meet the safety
requirements.
■
This device shall not be used by
persons (including children) with
limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lacking experience
and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsib-
le for their safety or they received
instructions on how to operate the
device.
■
Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the device.
■
Always pull the power cable out of
the socket by the plug, not by the
cable.
■
Do not operate the device with
wet hands.
