Maintenance and care 

7.1 

Maintenance 

The  complete  system  must  be  visually  inspected  at  regular  intervals  (every  3  months).  During  every  in-
spection, all screw connections should be checked to ensure they are tight. The seat and function of the 
float valve in the intake tank should also be checked. If the system will not  be used for a long period or if 
there is a risk of frost, it should be emptied. If put into temporary storage, it must be stored in a dry, well 
ventilated place. 

7.2 

Care 

To  clean  and  care  for  the  system  it  is  sufficient  to  wipe  it  down  with a  damp  cloth.  If  the  system  is  very 
dirty, a mild cleaning agent may also be used. Never use solvents or cleaning products that contain sol-
vents.

Troubleshooting 

If a fault occurs: 

Press the RESET switch 

If this does not solve the problem, disconnect the plug from the mains, wait about 15 seconds and plug in 
again. 

What to do if... 



there is an overflow on the unit (water leaking from DN 40 drain pipe)? 

The float valve's lifting body is rubbing against the inside of the unit. 

Centrally align float valve. 

Float valve has become dirty during pipe installation. 

Switch control unit to manual mains water mode. Open a consumer and allow pump to run for about 
1 minute. This should flush the dirt out of the valve. 



the unit is not running in mains water mode: 

Mains water connection is not open. 

3-way valve has not switched over (check valve position)
