CROSSBRACES
TIGHTEN CROSSBRACES
Tools required:

" wrench
Check the crossbraces to ensure that the bolt and nut securing both crossbraces in the center of
the wheelchair are secure (crossbraces should be loose enough to fold easily, yet snug enough to
take up excess play). Use a
1
/
2
" wrench to tighten or loosen.
ANTI-TIPPERS
ADJUST ANTI-TIPPER POSITION
The Anti-tippers must be set relative to the wheelchair’s seat-to-floor height; appropriate settings
are shown at above right. If seat-to-floor height is altered, the anti-tipper settings must also be
changed. All components remain the same; only the configuration changes.
1. To adjust anti-tipper position, remove the locking pin that secures the anti-tipper to the rear
frame, as shown above.
2. Remove the anti-tipper.
3. Install the anti-tipper in the appropriate position for seat height, as shown above.
4. Install locking pin; ensure it locks into position.
WARNING: Ensure anti-tippers are installed in identical positions, in appropriate position
for wheelchair seat height.
