TION, CONNECTIONS, AND ADJUSTMENTS
Some special versions are equipped with a drain to recover the water of some washing phases.
WARNING!
Make sure that the distance between the appliance drain connector and the floor drain is not greater
than the supplied elbow-joint length.
WARNING!
The drain duct must always be lower than the appliance outlet and its diameter must not be lower
than that of the supply pipe.
WARNING!
The drain duct must withstand temperatures of 90° and have such a capacity as to collect the water
drained.
WARNING!
Make sure there are no bottlenecks.
If several washing machines have been parallelly installed in the room,
the main drain channel must have such a capacity
as to simultaneously collect the water drained by all connected machines.
Every 12 metres of drain pipe, a bad odour elimination device must be installed.
For each connection of the appliance to the drain pipe, the diameter or width of the pipe increases. The recommended diameters for
the drain pipe are:
• d1 = 75 mm/ 3” for a machine
• d2 = 100 mm/ 4” for two machines
• d3 = 125 mm/ 5” for three machines
