MAINTENANCE
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
To ensure the appliance proper operation, regular and preventive checks and maintenance work must be carried out according to the
tables provided and the maintenance schedule indicated therein.
Failure to observe the above exempts the Manufacturer from any liability to the effects of the warranty.
The intervals indicated refer to normal operating conditions, i.e. in line with the expected and contractually established operating
conditions.
WARNING!
The personnel in charge of maintenance activities must be authorised and especially trained on the
safety and operational standards to be complied with in the danger situations that may arise, and
the correct methods for avoiding them.

Make sure that the washing cycle does not start with the porthole open
and that the latter cannot be opened when the washing cycle is in
progress.
•
Make sure that the fastening bolts of the device are fixed to the floor.
•
Make sure that nothing has been left (clothes or other objects) inside the
drum or rubber gasket.
•
Check the transmission belt tension.
•
Check the seal of the water and steam valves.
•
Make sure that water does not leak from the coupling hub of the
washing machine drum.
•
Check the seal of the discharge valve.
•
Make sure that the contacts on the contactor terminals and on the other
live terminals are tightened correctly.
•
Check the tightening moments of the screws.
•
Check the seal of all the hoses and connections inside the appliance.
•
TIGHTENING MOMENTS
Tightening torques are used on the appliance, except standard torques and the torques specified in the specific points:
Door lock fastening screw.
M5 - 2.5 Nm
Door handle central screw.
M6 - 8.8 Nm
Handle swivel mechanism.
M6 - 3.5/3.8 Nm
Suspension screws of the door, front panel
M6 - 8.8 Nm
Anchoring bolts.
M16 - 100 Nm
External drum belt screws.
M8 - 26 Nm
Motor support screws.
M12 - 5 Nm
