WARNING
:
Incorrect positioning or insufficient stability of the jack may
cause it to overturn.
.
5.
When the desired lift height is achieved, secure the vehicle by additional axle
stands before you begin working on the vehicle
.
4.4.
Lowering Loads
Lift the load off slowly and evenly, avoiding a jerky lowering. This protects the pivot points and
the hydraulic unit and extends the life of the jack.
CAUTION: Before draining, check that no tools or people are under the suspended load. It
could be wedged, or damage or badly injure someone.
1.
Turn the handle (Pos. 70) slowly and evenly counterclockwise until the load
lowers. Once you turn the handle in the clockwise direction again, the
downward movement stops.
NOTE:
:
The more you open the valve, the faster the load lowers.
2.
When the vehicle is fully drained, pull the jack out from under it.
NOTE:
If necessary, press (never the bearing surface) the lift arm down to free something
underneath with your hand.
If the lifting arm can not be lowered to the lowest position is completely on its own, air can go
through the hydraulic circuit. Before the next lift of the jack as described in section 4.2, it is to
be vented. If this does not improve, you must inform your dealer.
