6.6.2. Report template storage location
The default storage location of the report template is defined in the
Report
window on the
Software Config
page. This location can be changed if required.
6.7. Configuring the software
All parameters and defaults can be changed in the
Software Config
page.
6.7.1. Log file configuration options
The default directory where the log files are stored is not normally in the folder where the
main software is located. The default log file location is:
C:\ProgramData\GrantCRF\Logs;
The log file location can be varied to suit your file set up and can be a network share. Click on
the “Browse For Folder” button next to the
Default Dir
option to choose a new location see
Figure 32: Software: Log File Configuration Options
Note: Ensure that the Windows User has WRITE permissions to the folder where the log file
is stored otherwise data may be lost.
By default, each log file will be named based on a combination of
date
_
time
_
serial
number.GEF.
The GEF file is an encrypted format that can be automatically converted to
.PDF or .TSV (Tab Separated Variable) by the reporting function.
If date, time or CRF-1 serial number is not required in the log file name, then the default
situation can be overwritten. Figure 33 shows the
Include Date
box unchecked and no date
field appearing in the
