Setting up an SDTI channel
Although you select an SDTI channel type as you would any other when adding a
channel, configuring the channel is different. SDTI channels are pre-defined to have one
video track, two audio tracks for DVCPRO 25 or four audio tracks for DVCPRO 50, and
one timecode track. There is no crosspoint or video quality setting to make, but you do
need to select the input/output resource and the playout rate.
To select the input/output resource for an SDTI channel:
1. Select the video track for the channel and click
Stream Setup
.
2. Select one of the SDTI Input/Output check boxes.
3. Select a playout rate. For DVCPRO 25, the playout rates are 1X and 4X; for
DVCPRO 50, the playout rates are 1X and 2X.
