Section 5 — Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
Reformat Hard Drive and Restore Video Processor Frame IP Address
Refer to
while performing the following instructions:
1.
Open the front door to the Video Processor frame and set the Control
Processor/DSK/Still Store module rotary Boot switch to position
1
(it
should currently be set to
0
{zero} for normal operation).

Insert the Video Processor frame emergency boot disk into the floppy
disk drive.
3.
Press the Control Processor/DSK/Still Store module
Reset
button.
It will take approximately five minutes to reformat the hard drive. The
green light on the floppy disk drive will go on and off three times. There
is no other indication that the process has completed so be sure and
wait at least five minutes before removing the disk.
4.
When the process is complete, remove the disk and, with the rotary
Boot switch still set to position
1
, press the Control
Processor/DSK/Still Store module
Reset
button. Allow 45 seconds for
the Video Processor frame to fully restore communications.
5.
Leave the rotary Boot switch at position
1
and proceed to the following
section,
Restart Windows 2000

Restart Windows 2000 by pressing the
Menu Reset
button (middle
button) inside the Main panel (
